John has an extensive knowledge of the industry, many years of experience restoring Victorians in San Francisco with fine detailing inside and out - AND he has a fantastic personality to boot! He's a lot of fun to work with and very easy-going. As far as I could tell, he was personally on the job site every morning and did a lot of the more specialized work himself.

The workers were great, polite, respectful and the special care taken to prepare properly, which is extremely crucial, was quite evident and the results were FANTASTIC! I am looking forward to have them come back to do the inside in several months or so after we tear out a few walls and remodel.

Having a home styling business and being an interior design enthusiast, I wanted someone highly qualified to paint my own home, including it's problem areas. They painstakingly sanded and painted the boxes and doors of our kitchen cabinets on site, and the result looked like a factory finish.

John's meticulous prep work on our water damaged ceiling impressed my detail oriented husband, and the painted result was seamless. Along with their technical expertise is their wonderful aesthetic sensibility: John showed us how we should continue the color around certain walls in our open floor plan to create a more cohesive effect, and Rodrigo's artist's eye was invaluable in selecting the perfect shade for the trim, a small detail which made a huge difference. Our house sits out on a point very exposed to the wind, rain, sun and humidity such that any painting job is very exposed to the elements.
